3RE Marketing started out as 3RE Mail in 2005 by 3 friends with a passion for advertising and an appreciation for great design.

We were also passionate about not getting a real job. Work is more fun when you love what you do and even more fun when you are doing it for yourself.

Plus, working on our own we realized we could:

  • deliver as good a product as most “agencies”
  • do it faster
  • do it at a price our clients could feel good about and
  • still earn considerably more than as an employee working long hours for a salary

But running your own business does have its hurdles. And we found that many also attempting to go at it alone - or hoping to do so – were experiencing similar frustrations:

  • Finding enough business
  • Keeping enough business
  • Getting paid (fairly and timely)
  • Staying motivated and spending time wisely
  • losing valuable hours to all the “other stuff”
    (client meetings, phone calls, approvals, trafficking, invoicing, follow-up)

We started 3RE Marketing to help alleviate some of these problems and make it a little easier for those in advertising to sell themselves and their services and do what they do - BETTER.

What kind of name is “3RE”?

The name is designed – like most of our tools- to help make it easier to generate new business. When calling on a potential new client - either in person or on the phone - you often have only a small window to start a conversation, explain what you do, how it will benefit them, differentiate yourself and make an impression they will remember.

At the very least you’ll have a chance to tell them what company you are with.

With 3RE, the conversation is built in.

Our Philosophy

Originally starting as 3REmail.com, we often started with smaller jobs - like email marketing – and as we developed a stronger relationship with the client and understanding of their business began making suggestions and expanding into additional areas of their advertising – Direct Mail, Search, local Magazines and Newspaper, and even TV and Radio.

Each of us worked and billed our own clients independently, but helped each other with ideas on copy, creative, strategy and new leads.

While our styles differed, our work was guided by one underlying principle –

Marketing that builds RELATIONSHIPS with current and potential customers will more effectively increase RETENTION and generate RESULTS.

Hence the 3 - “RE’s”. By all working under the same name – 3RE Mail and now 3RE Marketing – it helped build our business and strengthen our brand.

Over the last 6 years we’ve learned a great deal about how to generate new business and provide email and other marketing services that keep clients coming back for more.

We now encourage others to join us and start putting their talents to work for themselves.

Growing our network multiplies our experience, creativity and ultimately - effectiveness.
